Delete your Spur account

You can permanently delete your Spur account and the data Spur keeps for it at any time, from the app or from this website. You do not need the app installed.

Delete on the web

Sign in to Spur with the account you want to delete.
Confirm your password (or sign in again with Apple or Google).
Type DELETE and choose Delete account permanently.

Delete in the app

Open Spur, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm your sign-in and follow the steps.

Can’t sign in?

Reset your password from the password reset page, then delete your account. If you no longer control the email address, email legal@getspurapp.com from that address or with details that let us verify the account. We never ask for your password.

What is deleted

Your Spur account, sign-in identity and sessions
Every vehicle, service record, mileage entry, reminder rule and note in Spur Cloud
All photos and receipt images stored for your account
Sync history, feedback you sent and your subscription record in Spur
Spur data on this device for this account

What to know

Other signed-in devices stop syncing and are cleared when they next connect; they cannot be wiped while offline.
Already-issued sign-in tokens can still be presented for up to one hour, but Spur denies them access to your data.
Payment and tax records held by Apple, Google or our web payment processor stay with them under their terms.
Spur Cloud currently keeps no daily backups or point-in-time recovery copies.
Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store must be cancelled in your Apple ID settings; Spur cannot cancel them. Spur cancels renewal of web subscriptions and requests cancellation of Google Play renewals.
Security and operational logs are kept only for the shortest practical period, and records the law requires are kept only as long as the law requires.
